Variation in aggressive behaviour in the poeciliid fish Brachyrhaphis episcopi: Population and sex differences

▶ High predation environments are believed to promote boldness in prey. ▶ But fish from low predation environments were bolder, more aggressive and more active. ▶ Low predation females were more aggressive than high predation females. ▶ Differences in food availability and predation pressure may create this effect.
