Abstract
ⶠRats' estimates are equally accurate using a long-term memory of a route or landmark. ⶠA 90° landmark vs. route conflict resulted in rats favoring the initial route. ⶠFurther, animals adjusted subsequent direction using the landmark. ⶠA 180° conflict resulted in search in the areas between the two predictive cues.
