Abstract
878A case of cutaneous heterotopic brain tissue, an uncommon developmental anomaly well-recognized in man, but very uncommon in small animals, is presented. The lesion was composed of meningothelial and neuroglial elements entrapped in dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Communication between surgeon and pathologist is helpful to avoid misdiagnosis.
