Abstract
Analysis of canine bone marrow by the Advia 2120 analyzer provides a valuable and rapid 'pre-microscopical' screen to indicate relative cellularity and predominant cell types. (A) Advia cytogram of peroxidase activity versus cell size indicates an increased proportion of cells with low peroxidase activity (P0 to P4). (B) The corresponding bone marrow smear from a patient with AML shows an increased proportion of undifferentiated blast cells and immature granulocytes.185
