Abstract
⺠Computationally fast hybrid 3D species transport model in fuel cells is presented. ⺠Model is 1D numerical in direction of flow and 2D analytic in other two dimensions. ⺠Model validation showed high accuracy of 3D species concentration distribution. ⺠Due to its analytic part its computational times are comparable to 1D models. ⺠High accuracy and computational efficiency make it a promising system level tool.
