Abstract
Porous nanowires of Co3O4/Carbon composite have been synthesized by using a simple and inexpensive electrospinning technique. The as-prepared materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The electrochemical properties of the composite have been characterized using cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic methods. The results show a remarkably improved electrochemical performance in term of reversible capacity, rate capability, and cycling performance.
