Abstract
▶ Iron oxide mesoporous nanorods could be used in Lithium-batteries as anodes. ▶ Iron oxide mesoporous nanorods have an initial capacity close to the theoretical. ▶ Electrochemical grinding leads to loss of capacity. ▶ Future work should be focused in preventing electrochemical grinding. ▶ Soft-aggregates assure better efficiency in coating methods.
