Abstract
⺠Aqueous PAAX (X = H, Li, Na, K) was investigated as an alternative binder to PVDF. ⺠The suitability of PAAX in SNG12/LiFePO4 was compared to PVDF. ⺠PAALi has advantages for both electrodes of SNG12/LiFePO4 compared to PVDF. ⺠SNG12/LiFePO4 full cells with PVDF cycled 223 times with 70% capacity retention. ⺠SNG12/LiFePO4 full cells with PAALi cycled 847 times with 70% capacity retention.
