Abstract
⺠A range of magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized. ⺠Zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc) ligand exchange was accomplished. ⺠ZnPc was successfully employed as a stabilizer for NP synthesis. ⺠Significant Q band red shifting observed in the UV/Vis and fluorescence spectra.
