Abstract
► We have presented the reactivity of coordinated hydrazones in the presence of Zn(II). ► Oxidative coupling of hydrazones with MeOH has occurred in the presence of Zn(II). ► Oxidative cyclization of hydrazones has occurred in the presence of Zn(II). ► A potential catalyst for alcohol oxidation has been developed.
