Abstract
⺠The new ligand 1,4-bis (imino-quinolyl) benzene was synthesized following Schiff base condensation. ⺠New phenylene bridged binuclear bis (imino-quinolyl) palladium (II) complexes are reported. ⺠X-ray crystal structure of the ligand showed two planar molecules. ⺠Good yields and good selectivity were obtained in Heck coupling reactions.
