Abstract
Three novel bis(bidentate) ligands derived from dibenzo-14-crown-4, and corresponding bimetallic Ru(II) complexes have been synthesized. These complexes exhibit one Ru(II)-centered reversible oxidation and three ligand-centered reductions, show characteristic MLCT absorption band at 445-454Â nm and emission at 575-592Â nm.
