Abstract
A novel 3-D coordination polymer [Cd2(pydc)2(H2O)]n (pydc = pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylate) 1 has been hydrothermally synthesized. It consists of two kinds of Cd(II) center with different coordination environments by pydc and aqua ligands, to form a 3-D open framework. 1 display strong fluorescent emission at room temperature.
