A novel 3D diorganotin framework, {[(nBu2Sn)2(dmsa)]2 · MeOH}n (1), has been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, NMR (1H, 13C, 119Sn) spectra, TGA and X-ray crystallography. The structure analysis of complex 1 reveals that guest methanol molecules are established in the hydrophobic “pseudo-channels” of this framework.
