Abstract
The trinuclear cluster [Pt3(bzq)(μ-PPh2)2(C6F5)3] 1 has been obtained by treatment of [Pt(bzq)(μ-PPh2)]2 with cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(thf)2] (1:2 molar ratio). The presence of a five-coordinate PPh2 bridging ligand [μ3-PPh(1,2-η2-Ph)-κ3P] has been proved by X-ray diffraction analysis.
