Abstract
⺠The first metal-organic azotetrazolate, [Me3Sn(μ-C2N10)SnMe3(H2O)]n (2), has been prepared in a straightforward manner. ⺠In the solid state, compound 2 comprises an unusual zipper-like supramolecular structure. ⺠Initial testing revealed that the title compound is sensitive to shock and friction despite its fairly low nitrogen-content.
