Abstract
A new open framework manganese phosphomolybdate, (C2N2H10)4{Mn3[P4Mo6O26(OH)5]2}·6H2O, is reported for the first time. The compound exhibits a 4,8-connected 3D inorganic open framework with a (41261284) (46)2 topology, which is constructed by sandwich-shaped [Mn(Mo6P4)2] clusters and {MnO6} octahedra via the sharing of corners. Meanwhile, the channels of the 3D network are filled with protonated ethylenediamine and water molecules.
