A novel polyoxometalate {P2VW18VINi4(H2O)2O68[Ni(en)2(H2O)]2}[Ni(en)3]2[Ni(en)2(H2O)2]·14H2O (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum, ESR spectrum and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It is a novel Weakley-type POM supported transition metal coordination complex, also it contains a novel (H2O)14 water cluster in the structure. The study of the magnetic susceptibility of 1 demonstrates the presence of ferromagnetic interactions.
