Abstract
A Cu(II)-catalyzed oxidative substitution of pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylic acid (H3pdc) C–H bonds by bromo/iodo nucleophiles in a self-assembly process under hydrothermal conditions afforded the first halogenated pyrazolecarboxylato-based linear trinuclear copper(II) coordination complexes.
