Abstract
The single crystal X-ray analysis of a novel TlI of 2,4-dichlorophenol (Hdcp) ligand shows that the complex is a tetranuclear cubic cage as a result of bridging ligands dcpâ with basic repeating [Tl(μ3-dcp)] units. There are four thallium atoms with similar coordination spheres in the cubic cage. These thallium atoms contain irregular coordination sphere with stereo-chemically active lone.
