Abstract
The solution reaction of Pb(NO3)2 with furan-2-ylmethylene salicyloyl hydrazone (H2fysh) afforded a new 3D-diamond-like coordination polymer [Pb(Hfysh)2]. The lead(II) atom is in a holodirected eight-coordinated polyhedron.
