Abstract
A three-dimensional La(III) based metal-organic framework, lanthanum 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate, La2[NC5H3(CO2)2]3·3H2O, is described. The structure consists of zig-zag chains, which link together into double chains embedded within the 3-D lanthanum-organic framework.
