Abstract
The synthesis and structure of nonanuclear nickel(II) cage complex with μ6-CO3, [Ni9(NH2CH2CH2SO3)6(CH3CO2)6(H2O)6(OH)6(μ6-CO3)2]4â(1), is reported. Nickel atoms in 1 are arranged as a tricapped trigonal prism, which is afforded through the fixation of atmospheric CO2.
