Abstract
A series of 1-alkyl-3-phenylthioureas were evaluated as HDL- and Apo A-I-elevating and triglyceride-lowering agents. Analogue 8d (HDL376) raises HDL cholesterol in rat, hamster, dog, and monkey models.
