Abstract

Ferrofluid solution was successfully synthesized by wet chemical route. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscope were employed to investigate the crystal phase structure and particle size diameter, respectively. After synthesis, the average diameter of solid particle size is ∼30 nm. Furthermore, the ferrofluid solution was used as nano-abrasion media for surface smoothness enhancement of bacterial cellulose nanocomposite. Atomic force microscope revealed that significant enhancement of surface smoothness reaches 5 nm, suggesting that bacterial cellulose nanocomposite substrate can be excellent candidate for organic light emitting diode.
