Abstract
In this work, SnO2 nanostructures were successfully prepared by a rapid electrochemical deposition process combined with calcining process. By tuning applied potential and current, the morphology and microstructure of the SnO2 nanostructures could be controlled. The optical and the bio-sensor properties of SnO2 nanostructures were measured, which showed high sensitivity compared with bare FTO substrate. The SnO2 nanostructures may have great potential for bimolecular sensor applications.
