Abstract
⺠Honeybees express six membrane-bound and one soluble adenylyl cyclase. ⺠We identified expression of AmAC8 in honeybee mushroom bodies. ⺠We employed a cell-based assay to quantify functional AC-activity. ⺠We demonstrate functional expression of N-terminally truncated AmAC2t. ⺠We observed binding of AmAC2t and AmAC8 to Calmodulin agarose.
