Abstract
⺠JHAMT, CYP15A1 and FAMeT were reported to be involved in JH biosynthesis in Arthropods. ⺠Orthologs were cloned in the desert locust, Schistocerca gregaria. ⺠Q-RT-PCR study (tissue specificity and developmental expression) was performed. ⺠RNAi-based approach to verify their orthologous function. ⺠SgJHAMT and SgCYP15A1 encode an FA methyltransferase and an MF epoxidase resp.
