Abstract
âº32 known proteins and 3 novel up-regulated peptides were expressed in midgut. The most common functional classes, was the immunity/defense group (34.78%). Evidence supports activation of some immune cascades and Toll signaling pathways. Some proteases have not been reported in Anopheles in interactions with this parasite.
