Abstract
► Methylparathion and carbofuran inhibited state III and state IV respiration in vivo. ► Both the insecticides also inhibited P/O ratio, RCI and F0F1 ATPase in vivo. ► The insecticides induced LDH leak, MDA, H2O2 content in vivo. ► The insecticides inhibited larval growth in dose- and time-dependent manner.
