Abstract
► We obtained 5643-bp contiguous cDNA sequence of para homologous sodium channel gene (CmNav) from Cnaphalocrocis medinali. ► All hallmarks of sodium channel proteins are conserved in the CmNav. ► Expression profiles of CmNav splice variants exhibit marked developmental or anatomical regulation.
