Abstract
► 28 CarE-like genes were identified in the transcriptome of Laodelphax striatellus. ► The resistance strain (YN-CPF) showed high resistance levels to chlorpyrifos. ► Expression analysis indicated CarE1 significantly overexpressed in the YN-CPF. ► Overexpression of CarE1 was linked with chlorpyrifos resistance level.
