Abstract
⺠5-Aminolevulinic acid (ALA, 30 mg lâ1) recovered the plants treated with 200 mM NaCl. ⺠ALA does not affect Na+ transport from the roots to the shoots. ⺠ALA might suppress the inï¬ow of Na+. ⺠NaCl induced an increase in number of plastoglobuli due to degradation of thylakoids. ⺠ALA treatment develops the more organized granal stacks in chloroplasts.
