Abstract
⺠Proline dehydrogenase activity decreased with the increase in osmotic and salt stress severity and duration. ⺠Levels of proline and phenolic compounds increased with an increase in stress severity and duration. ⺠Medicinal compounds in Cyrtanthus species may be increased through manipulation of stress factors.
