Abstract
⺠We investigated the comparative effects of HBL and SA in alleviating the NaCl stress in the soil. ⺠NaCl stress (4.2 dsmâ1) significantly decreased all the parameters more at 30 DAS than 45 DAS. ⺠Out of the two hormones, HBL excelled in its effects at both the sampling stages. ⺠Toxicity was completely overcome by the combination of two hormones at 45 DAS.
