Abstract
⺠Cyclophilin-like gene, GhCyp1, was cloned from Gossypium hirsutum. ⺠GhCyp1 expression level was high in roots and stems. ⺠The transgenic GhCyp1 tobacco plants were produced. ⺠Overexpression of GhCyp1 conferred high tolerance to salt stress and Pst infection. ⺠GhCyp1 is a suitable candidate gene to produce plants with tolerance to stresses.
