Abstract
⺠Arabidopsis AtMfl1 (Mitoferrinlike1) belongs to the mitochondrial carriers family. ⺠AtMfl1 expression correlates with genes involved in chloroplastic metabolism. ⺠atmfl1 KO mutants show reduced Fe content, reduced vegetative growth and reduced AtFer1 ferritin expression. ⺠AtMFL1 is possibly involved in Fe transport into chloroplasts.
