Abstract
⺠Purification of a novel PdKI-4 Kunitz inhibitor from Pithecellobium dumosum seeds with activity against serine proteinases. ⺠PdKI-4 also showed in vitro inhibitory activity toward Coleopterans, Lepidopterans and Dipterans digestive enzymes. ⺠Kinetic studies demonstrated that PdKI-4 is a competitive inhibitor.
