Abstract
► Systemic gas exchange reaction to local burning in tomato depends on ABA content. ► SEP depends on ABA content and participate on triggering changes in gas exchange. ► JA but not ABA highly systemically accumulated in WT, SIT and SITA plants. ► Possible effect of JA and ABA to systemic response to burning. ► JA can partly compensate for the shortage of ABA in SIT in the reaction to burning.
