Abstract
⺠We reported the characterization of the P450 gene Oscyp71Z2, which belongs to the CYP71Z subfamily. ⺠We obtained Oscyp71Z2-overexpressing and -RNAi rice, and examined the resistance level to Xoo. ⺠Oscyp71Z2 plays an role in resistance to Xoo by regulating the phytoalexin biosynthesis.
