Abstract
⺠We optimized a flow cytometry procedure for DNA determination in Dianthus spp. ⺠We determined DNA content of different carnation cultivars and wild Dianthus spp. ⺠Mixoploidy was characterized in several organs from D. caryophyllus 'Master'. ⺠Positive correlation between endopolyploidy, cell and petal size was found.
