Abstract
⺠We isolated a cinnamyl alcohol dehydrogenase cDNA from a cDNA library of glandular secretory trichomes of Artemisia annua. ⺠We identified AaCAD expression pattern in Artemisia annua. ⺠The recombinant enzyme is a broad substrate reductase.
