Abstract
► mfs is a partially female-sterile Brassica napus mutant. ► The stamens and pistil morphology of mfs is different from that of its Wild-type. ► Pollen viability of the mutant is enhanced. ► The papillar cells of mfs become degenerated quickly after anthesis. ► The mutant trait appears to be controlled by two recessive genes.
