Abstract
⺠Two types of nitrosyl iron complexes can be formed in embryos exposed to NO. ⺠By adding an NO donor, mononitrosyl iron complexes occur in vivo upon germination. ⺠This paramagnetic compound formation strictly depended on the Fe and NO presence. ⺠These complexes could contribute to the cellular labile iron pool composition. ⺠Nitrosyl iron complexes could be a possible pathway for NO and Fe transportation.
