Abstract
▶ dwa3 mutants exhibit hypersensitivity to ABA and NaCl treatments. ▶ ABA-responsive transcription factors such as ABI5 and AtMYC2 were hyper-induced by ABA in dwa3. ▶ DWA3 is a negative regulator in ABA signal transduction. ▶ DWA3 interacted with components of the CUL4 E3 ligase complex such as DDB1 and CUL4. ▶ DWA3 may be involved in degradation of positive regulators of ABA signaling as part of a CUL4 E3 ligase.
