Abstract
ⶠdwa3 mutants exhibit hypersensitivity to ABA and NaCl treatments. ⶠABA-responsive transcription factors such as ABI5 and AtMYC2 were hyper-induced by ABA in dwa3. ⶠDWA3 is a negative regulator in ABA signal transduction. ⶠDWA3 interacted with components of the CUL4 E3 ligase complex such as DDB1 and CUL4. ⶠDWA3 may be involved in degradation of positive regulators of ABA signaling as part of a CUL4 E3 ligase.
