Abstract
⺠Denitrifying bacteria were positively correlated with fungal biomass in soil. ⺠Denitrifying bacteria were also positively correlated with soil enzyme activity. ⺠Methane oxidizing bacteria were negatively correlated with fungal biomass. ⺠Soil Archaea were negatively correlated with fungal biomass and enzyme activity. ⺠The distribution of prokaryotic functional groups may be correlated with fungal biomass.
