Abstract
⺠Charcoal at â¥1.5% reduced the CO2 emission rate 27%. ⺠Charcoal at 4.5% reduced N2O emission rate 41%. ⺠Charcoal had no effect on CH4 emissions. ⺠Charcoal at 1.5% reduced GHG emission 2%, 3% 34% and 4.5% 39%. ⺠Wheat growth was inhibited in the charcoal-amended soil, but not yields.
