Abstract
⺠CO2 respiration of liquid dairy manures was well simulated by the model CN-SIM. ⺠Soil mineral nitrogen concentration (SMN) was overestimated after day 40. ⺠The release of initially immobilised N was responsible for SMN overestimation. ⺠N immobilisation was the only possibility to match the measured decrease of SMN. ⺠Will it be possible to improve simulations by adding other SMN sinks in the model?
