Abstract
⺠Leaf CO2 diffusion is not constant, but modified by slow or fast processes. ⺠Analysis of photosynthetic parameters provide evidence for the mechanisms of CO2 diffusion. ⺠Besides stomata opening and CO2 biochemistry the membrane composition is a CO2 diffusion limiting component. ⺠The function of specific aquaporins modify CO2 availability for CO2 fixing reactions.
