Abstract
⺠Light regulates shoot apical meristem function and organ initiation through cytokinin and auxin. ⺠PTL is involved in regulating phyllotaxy and PIN1 levels at sites of organ initiation. ⺠YABBY gene function regulates leaf development through TCP transcription factors. ⺠Modification of the marginal regions of a leaf involves negative feedback between PIN1 and CUC2.
